Site Updated and New Template Released

A bright new look for the GX site, and the template installation details have been adjusted to make these templates even easier to install and customize. The instructions on how to customize the shopping cart are now available to download directly from the site separate from purchase. You can find this pdf file on the template installation page.

The new "Custom Colors" template has endless design possibilities! The menu option in the Adobe Web Photo Gallery control panel for custom colors is activated for this template, enabling users to quickly and easily choose their own background color, text and link colors, and image border colors. You can also add your own logo or design as a background image. There a four samples with and without the PayPal shopping cart to give you an idea of the potential this template has.

Templates and Sample Galleries Updated

Due to popular request, all templates have had the following updates:

-An invisible right click disable function has been added to thumbnail pages. The entire web photo gallery template is now disabled from right click use.

-When user returns to thumbnails from large image viewing page, they are now returned to the top of the thumbnail page where gallery title and contact information is found, rather than the actual thumbnail image.

Basic Black templates Upgraded

The free Basic Black template, and the Basic Black with Cart template have been upgraded to have adjustable borders on both thumbnail and large images - from 0 pixel width and up. On the free version, the file name is now available for the large image.

New Web Photo Gallery Template - Light & Shadows

This new template is pure white with black accents. Large images (up to 1100 pixels wide)and thumbnails have a soft drop shadow. In addition to the large image viewing window, this template has the right click disable also on the thumbnail pages. Available with and without the PayPal shopping cart. Photo Gallery Templates in CS4 Bridge

It is possible to run the Web Photo Gallery templates from either Photoshop or Bridge in the new CS4 version. That's great news because when building galleries through Bridge, you can select individual files, select by label, or however you want rather than selecting an entire folder. It is an optional installation which needs to be done manually, but the three steps necessary are detailed here.

Right Click Disable Coding Added

Just like a lock on a door, right click disabling offers a level of protection for your images from theft. This feature is included in all template galleries for the large image viewing area. It works in recent and current versions of the most popular browsers - Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Netscape, AOL, and the new Google Chrome. Right click disable is a good deterrent for the majority of internet users, but anyone who really wants to steal an image - from any kind of online source - can pick the lock or crawl in through an open window. Watermarking images is the best protection for any online image display. With the new GenerateX templates and Adobe's Web Photo Gallery generator, you can have both methods of protection automatically!

Beaches

Beaches has a filmstrip layout and a textured background for the main image window. The shopping cart version features a second drop down menu for additional options like Color/B&W/Sepia.
